Let’s be honest. The first four to five years of your child’s life are a blur. You are trying to figure out how to feed them, bathe them, find time to cook and clean your house, oh and there is that magical thing called sleep – trying to figure out how to still get a little bit of that. Most of us survive these years with toothpicks holding our eyelids open. But you don’t have to do this alone. There’s MOPS.
MOPS is a Christian-based organization for mothers of children ages pregnancy through 5 years old. We host monthly meetings where we enjoy food, fellowship, guest speakers, and discussion groups — all of which are relevant to the difficult job of being a mom! In addition to our meetings, we meet each month for a Mom’s Night Out and a play date with the kids. It’s a way to spend time with other moms who can relate to you and support you.
Childcare is Provided for Monthly Meetings.
MOPPETS is a fun-filled program for the children, where they are cared for by volunteers from Indian Hills Christian Church. Each month, they receive a lesson from the Boz the Bear curriculum, have playtime, snack, do a craft, and listen to a story from Ms. Libby, Boyle County librarian. This gives you time to relax and enjoy the MOPS meeting.
